SoundHound AI and LivePerson: Response to Critical PHP Security Vulnerabilities

SoundHound AI and LivePerson are conducting a coordinated response to the recently disclosed critical PHP security vulnerabilities. Identification and remediation activities began within hours of the public announcement, with priority given to vulnerable internet-facing systems.

Many vulnerable instances have already been addressed. We expect all affected internet-facing instances to be mitigated, either by applying the required security updates or taking them offline, no later than Friday, October 23, 2026.

Security, engineering, and infrastructure teams across both organizations are:

• Assessing applications and infrastructure and scanning externally accessible systems to identify affected PHP installations.
• Deploying security updates or confirmed vendor-provided fixes, with appropriate testing to manage operational impact.
• Centrally tracking affected systems, remediation ownership, and progress through completion.
• Validating remediation through technical verification and follow-up scanning, where applicable.

Assessment and remediation activities remain ongoing. SoundHound AI and LivePerson will communicate directly with affected customers if findings indicate customer impact or a need for customer action.
